Profile

Becky Leslie started riding at the age of 12 and was soon helping at the local riding school at weekends and during her holidays until she left school. She then attended the Warwickshire College at Moreton Morrell where she studied Horse Care and Stable Management for two years to NVQ2 level.

She developed her experience of stable management as yard manager at Caldecott Farm stables in Bushey, Hertfordshire, a yard specialising in show jumping and in backing and breaking top class stallions.

She then worked for Mary Robins as yard manager at Home Close Farm near Wendover, a specialist dressage yard which also catered for eventers and show jumpers. Whilst there she groomed for Karen Knight at a number of one-day events.

Becky moved on to Rose Hall Farm near Sarrat to gain experience of work with hunters as a team member, also instructing clients' children to ride and herself exercising up to three horses a day including 'ride and lead'.

Since then she has combined bringing up her two-year old son with providing a freelance grooming service for a number of clients in the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire region.

Becky is a member of the British Grooms Association and is working towards the Advanced level Equine Skills CV.
